Domaine Berthelemot in a few words

Domaine Berthelemot was founded recently. Late 2006, Brigitte Berthelemot took over Jean Garaudet’s and Yves Darviot’s vineyards with the help of her vineyard manager Marc Cugney. They form the perfect team thanks to their complementary skills. The temperature-controlled vat-house and barrel room offer the best winemaking conditions. The cellar shop was open in April 2009. The estate now grows 16.8 acres of vines in the villages de Beaune, Pommard, Monthelie, Meursault and Meloisey and produces 36,000 bottles a year in average.  The estate’s philosophy ? The respect of plants, a deep thinking on training methods and every operation so as to reduce the use of pest treatments to a minimum, these are the fundamentals of the estate’s philosophy.
