The domain

Always captivated by wine, I settled in the Maranges area in 2003. I had to start from scratch by familiarizing myself with the vineyard , adapting the appropriate vinification methods and build up sales directly for individual consumers, the restaurant trade and export markets. As an oenologist, I practice winegrowing in accordance with “agriculture raisonnée” standards.

    In the course of promoting my wines, I have met well known sommeliers and now have the pride and satisfaction to see my wines served in many prestigious restaurants in Paris.

    Your finest moment in relation to wine ?

    Love.

    Your funniest story ?

    The usual one hears about a young woman running a business; I don’t want to upset anyone by repeating them because some stories can be rather crude!

    Your favourite wine ?

    We are lucky in France to have such a vast and varied winegrowing area and winegrowers ready to help you discover their wines. It is not always easy to choose but if it features on a winelist, I would go for a Saint-Amour.

    Your motto or favourite saying ?

    Happy is the man who sung “never let life get you down” because in my experience I feel that life is not such an easy, long and free flowing time.
