Three Women of Femmes et Vins de Bourgognes are now Chevaliers du Tastevin

Three women of FEVB were inducted during the Chapitre des Roses on Saturday May 29th at the Château du Clos de Vougeot. Lyne Marchive, Martine Protheau and Virginie Taupenot-Daniel are the first women of the FEVB association to join the prestigious Chevaliers du Tastevin society. Giving them the opportunity to remind the role of woman in society and particularly in the world of wine.

 

Another view on the wine industry - The Saône-et-Loire viticulturist

Just ten years ago, Anne Parent and five colleagues of her’s gathered around a table. Their project was to gather women taking over their family estate. A simple idea which then resulted in the set up of the Femmes et vins de Bourgogne association. An organization which now boasts more than thirty members. It proves to be really successful.

Virginie Taupenot : the feminine side of Morey

At 37, Virginie Taupenot of Domaine Taupenot-Merme has become the new president of the "Femmes et Vins de Bourgogne" association, founded by Anne Parent 7 years ago.

Virginie Taupenot. It is hard for a woman to find a place of her own in a family estate. Now she has found it, as she manages the commercial department of Domaine Taupenot-Merme. Feminine and not feminist, she is even the president of the Femmes et Vins de Bourgogne association.
