This year marks the 68 th anniversary of this event - a little different from previous years but keeping the same spirit of tradition, culture and friendliness.

Our last meeting took place on the 19th of october at Agnès Millet in Dracy le Fort ; her cheerfulness and the tasting of her great wines was very appreciated from all of us.

This second “WOMEN OF WINE" event, will take place at the Palais des Congrès Bordeaux-Lac on Monday, June 20th from 3-6pm. An invitation from 95 women wine makers to taste their wines !

On Tuesday, March 8, 2011 : Tastings will be offered by 7 winemakers in favor of the association AFSEP.

A small but good quality crop!

After a cold and never-ending winter spring finally arrived in April.  However with daily temperatures above the seasonal average, vines soon resumed their normal activity.

In this beautiful region that is Burgundy; November has drawn to an end...Physically, we are just getting over the recently finished harvest and the wines are starting to show their promising character after the hectic days of vinification. Has malo-lactic fermentation started? Yes, no, maybe...

Enfin nous retrouvons cette atmosphère si particulière des vendanges, les petits matins brumeux, l'air chargé des effluves de raisins murs. Je roule vers le domaine, en respirant le parfum délicieux du pain chaud destiné au casse-croute des vendangeurs. Au loin l'horizon se colore, révélant progressivement les coteaux soigneusement peignés de la Côte de Beaune.

• Anne Parent will have the honor to receive "la légion d'honneur" for beeing involved in teh creation of "Femmes et Vins de Bourgogne"
• Cecile Tremblay is "the Revelation of the Year" for the Guild of French wine 2011 (Bettane et Desseauve)
• Martine Protheau, Fabienne Bony, Sophie Cinier and Marie-Françoise Audoin have been selected by Karine Valentin for the last and special edition of "Cuisines et Vins de France".

Anne Gros, Fabienne Bony, Béatrice Dubois and Virginie Taupenot present the association in front of the camera of the journalists of Divine Comedy. The opportunity for these ladies to repeat all the importance taken by the women in the modern vine growing.
