Le manoir du Capucin in a few words
The manor house, with its Tuscany style columns, cellars and walled vineyard, used to be the home of the author of "Noël Mâconnais", Luillier, a member of the capuchin order in the 17th century. My great grandfather, Antoine Forest (known as Tony) former president of the Pouilly-Fuissé winegrowers syndicate, purchased the estate early in the 20th century.
For the next two generations the vines were leased out.
I took the decision in 1998 to study oenology and winegrowing and in 2002 took over the estate to give new life to the manor house and follow the family tradition.
